I was made for GLORY!

"How you think says who you are!" I heard this from our dear pastor one time he was sharing about alignment with God, which means fully agreeing with His thoughts and plans for our lives .

I was just taking it all in.. During our talk, he (our pastor) said, "our identity starts at the blueprint of God." I nodded my head in agreement (and inwardly hoped that I truly grasped the wisdom behind what he said). Days after, during his preaching at the 10-day fast, he reiterated that phrase, "our identity starts at the blueprint of God." Each one of us were created uniquely, with unique personalities and characteristics. And our uniqueness is designed for one thing- they were made for the purpose of showing His glory to the world. People give glory to God when they see us excelling in our talents and gifts, when we show His nature- His goodness and love, compassion, etc.

If we have NOT come to an understanding that we were designed for glory, then I think we have lost our lives to mediocrity. But when we see ourselves the way He has sees us, we can show His glory.what

However, there are aspects in our lives that the Lord is still changing and healing. A broken mirror can only reflect so much. That sometimes, after hearing God's thoughts for us, we try to work things out for ourselves. When we come out from an experience of His love and great thoughts for us, sometimes we fall to the thinking that we must do, in order to be. We must do good so that we can validate the words of the Lord in our lives.

For a long time, I've stayed in this side of the camp- trying to do, so that I can be. And I found that no matter how I try to change myself to fit God's words for my life, I end up failing and frustrated.

But God shattered this mindset with that phrase, "how you think says who you are". It all starts with how we see ourselves. We need to go back to the blueprint that God has for us. Moreover, it is not enough just merely listening to His words in our lives, and then try to change ourselves. These words have to sink deep in our minds and hearts- as our pastor put it- "completely aligning with God" for His blueprint for us. Outside of this, there can't be any real transformation in us or through us. Our identity starts there at the blueprint He has made for our lives.

Thus, we have to come in full agreement with God about everything about us.

You are made for glory. You are more than a conqueror. You are the salt and the light of the World. You are His delight. You are made in His image and likeness. You are the apple of His eyes. You are the head and not the tail. Just ask and the nations will be your inheritance. You are a new creation. You are born from above...

The Word says, the truth will set us free. And this is the truth about us, this is our identity. The world has tried to dictate otherwise, bombarding us with criticisms all our lives that we have never come to a realization of our true identity. But now God is inviting us to look into the real blueprint that He has designed for our lives- and agree with Him more and more until we have fully 'aligned' with His thoughts and will for us..

"How we think says who we are." Therefore I say, I AM CREATED FOR GLORY!
